Data Privacy Statement

joka HR Service GmbH (hereafter: joka HR Services), represented by its Managing Directors, Katrin Riech-Neumann and Johanna Taraszewski, welcomes you to its website. Data privacy and data security during your visit to our site, are very important to us. We want to inform you what personal data is collected when you visit our website, and for which purposes this is done.

This privacy statement can be accessed, saved and printed at any time via the URL:

http://www.joka-hr.de/datenschutz.html.

Since changes in the law or changes to our internal procedures may make an amendment of this data privacy statement necessary, we ask you to check back for updates regularly.

1. Scope

This data privacy statement applies to the internet presence of joka HR Services, which is accessible through the

domain http://www.joka-hr.de (hereafter: „our website“).

2. What is personal data?

Personal data is information that can be used to identify you personally (e.g. name, address, telephone number, date of birth or e-mail address). Information that is not directly related to your person (and may only be associated with you by means of a disproportionate effort, e.g. the information having been anonymized), is not considered personal data.

3. What type of personal data is collected and processed by us?

You can use a large part of our website without providing personal data. Data is saved without reference to a person, e.g. the name of your internet provider, the page from which you arrived on our site, the names of the requested files and their release dates. This data is solely used to improve our offering and does not allow for any insight regarding your person.

4. The use of cookies

We do not create personal user profiles. In connection with the provision of the information you desire, anonymized data will be saved on our servers, to enable us to provide our various services, or for the purpose of analysis. In doing so, only general information is recorded, for example, during what time which contents from our site were accessed, or what pages are visited most often. For this purpose, we use so-called „cookies“ (small text files containing configuration information). Our cookies are used in particular to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our websites. In this way, we find out which area of our website and which other websites our users visit. On completion of the session, the cookies are deleted. This usage data does not allow any inference regarding the user. Most browsers accept cookies by default. However, you can deactivate this option, or adjust your browser so that it notifies you before accepting cookies. Users who do not accept cookies, may not be able to access certain parts of our websites.

5. Integration of XING-Plugins

Calling up this website briefly connects your browser with servers of XING AG (hereafter „XING“), that provide the "XING Button" functions. XING saves no personal information about you when you connect to this website. XING especially does not save your IP address. There is also no evaluation of your user behavior through the use of cookies in connection with the "XING Share-Button". The current data protection information concerning the "XING Share-Button", together with additional information, is available under the following links:

https://www.xing.com/app/share?op=data_protection and https://www.xing.com/privacy

6. Integration of LinkedIN Plugins

Furthermore, plugins of the social network LinkedIn, of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereafter: “LinkedIn”), are integrated into our website. The LinkedIn plugin is indicated by the LinkedIn logo or the "Recommend” button (“Recommend“), on our site. When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the LinkedIn server. In this way, LinkedIn is informed of your visit to our website, and is given your IP address. If you click on the LinkedIn "Recommend” button while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the contents of our pages on your LinkedIn profile. Thereby, LinkedIn is able to assign your visit to our site, to your user account. We point out that we, as provider of the site, do not receive any information through LinkedIn about the content of submitted data, nor their use.

Details of data retention (purpose, scope, further processing, use), as well as details of your rights and ability to set preferences, can be derived from the details regarding the data privacy of LinkedIn, which are available at: http://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

7. Protection measures of the data that is saved by us

Personal data that you entrust to us through our website and e-mail communications are safe. We are committed to protecting your privacy and treating your personal data confidentially. To avoid any loss or abuse of the data that is saved by us, we ensure technical and organizational security measures, that are regularly reviewed and adapted in line with technological innovations.

However, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that, due to the structure of the internet, it is possible that the regulations of data privacy and the measures that are listed above, are not observed by others, who do not fall within our responsibility and are not located in our institutions. Particularly unencrypted, revealing data – even if sent by e-mail – can be read by third parties. We have no technical influence on this. It lies within the responsibility of the user to protect the data that he/she enters against abuse by means of encryption, or otherwise.
